Soccer

I'm really not sure if there is much I can say in regards to "playing" soccer. I did get the cute pics of Madie and that is about all. I think I get more wrapped up on the whole concept than she does. It's the funniest thing. This is a typical Saturday soccer routine... Get dressed cute, mom posts pictures to Facebook (people assume Madison plays) then we practice and mom then chit chats and then.... The game starts and MELTDOWN begins, god forbid she now has to share the soccer ball with 5 other people. What an adventure this has been and not sure where it will lead. I do have to say its been fun Saturday morning entertainment!

The Adventures of Flat Stanley

The adventure of flat Stanley!! Madison brought home a cute lil guy she cut out at school named Stanley. Stanley "traveled" with us during spring break and we documented his good times. It was the cutest thing because Madison was worried about Stanley every where we went. To say the least Stanley had an amazing week away from school. He started his travels at Madison's soccer game and then headed to San Antonio. We went and stayed at our favorite resort in Texas, JW Marriott Hill Country. Everyone had such a great time and enjoyed all the nice weather. We were also able to see grandfather Burkhart and do some cool things with him. Grandfather Burkhart took the kids and Stanley fishing in Blanco, same area where he used to take Ryan fishing as a kid. When we got back from San Antonio, Hope and Shannon were up visiting Sally. The kids always have such an awesome time when they visit because they play with them
24/7. This was an AWESOME spring break with the fam and flat Stanley!

Daddy Daughter Valentine Dance

Madison and Ryan went to their first Daddy Daughter dance at the Grapevine community center. They had a blast and Madie loved it because it was Barbie themed. She walked the cat walk, decorated flip flops, danced with daddy and got sassy with the sweet n sassy crew.
